Throughout the years, many fans have come and have gone from the terraces at Olympic Park, and Somers Street Stadium, stamping a proud reputation rich on culture. They have linked the name Melbourne Croatia and Melbourne Knights with decades of die hard supporters giving everything they posses to the club they love. We have become the target of many politically and financially motivated villains who have had only one goal in mind; running us into the ground.

Our city is rich in football culture. Our club is of many which was founded in the middle of the century, but one of few which has grown from strength to strength. Our fans have been what has made the club what it is today. Be they the young thrill seekers, hanging onto their older cousins every word, trying to make sense of old stories and old faces. Or the old men who spent every dollar they earned filling the pockets of the players in the 60s and 70s, taking their children to Olympic Park in the 80s and in turn trying to teach their new born grandchildren to return to the spiritual home we all call 'Croacija' in the toughest times our once mighty club has endured.

Today, we find ourselves in the midst of a league full of clubs who could never make it to a higher level, forever despising our great achievements both home and abroad. In a league which is run by an administration full of money hungry (supposed) businessmen, who only wish to appease the higher new order or football politicians who sit high on their perch in Sydney, not interested in the plight of today’s average (or not average) suburban football club. In a league where there are only two organised (to a degree) groups of fans who actively support their club vocally and visually, week in week out.

This website hopes to give a view or what the fans of Melbourne Croatia were like through the last half a century, and where they are today. Be they the boys that travelled interstate to see our championship over a decade ago, those who only a handful of years ago tried to revive those days, to those who travelled in the thousands to every game in the 70s, just to see their clubs colours take the park. In the stadium both the media and travelling rivals dubbed the 'Concentration Camp' and 'Cold Hole of Hell', today there is a new breed of Melbourne Croatia Fans at the old Lot 2, Somers Street complex. Those keeping old reputations alive and well.
